ART BLOG AWARD

I am really new to this. With this award I am to list seven things I love.

Seven things I do so love are:

1)  The scent of roses. But not any rose. Heirloom roses freshly opened in the morning just after the dew has disappeared from the morning sun.

2)  Spring and the outdoors. The warmth of the sun, the singing of the birds who have returned to us from their winter homes, the new greenery and flowers, the fresh air filled with scents of warm earth, newly opened leaves (especially the scent of the Balm of Gilead tree), the freshly opened lake......

3)  Puppy breath. I just love puppy breath!!! And puppies of course.

4)  The song Moon River. #1 on my music charts.

5)  Chocolate. Good quality chocolate! Oh yes!!

6)  Animals and critters of all kinds, but at the very top of that list is horses, horses, horses, then dragonflies and cats and dogs! And I absolutely love the scent of horses!!!

7)  I love the scents of the air after a lightening storm, clothes fresh off the outside line, freshly cut grass, leaves that have fallen to the ground in autumn,  the scent of burning Birch and Oak in the fireplace, freshly baled hay, a good book.......

and #8)  A bonus and last but far from least, people. My husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, community, and beyond. Smiling faces, wonderful conversations on positive uplifting topics, joyful times......

Really there are far, far more than 7 or 8 things I truly love! And yet I could sum it all into one thing, Life itself !! With all the beautiful things this world contains through all our senses, how could it be possible to pick just a few.....
